Afternoon Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead operations within a fast-paced steel roofing manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on the production floor and has strong people and process management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities
• Lead, motivate, and support production staff to meet daily output and quality targets
• Ensure safe operation of machinery
• Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production schedules
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Work closely with stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous experience supervising within a manufacturing or steel environment
• ​​​​​​​Forklift licence is essential
• Strong understanding of sheet metal or steel processing operations
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
• Ability to work afternoon shift hours reliably
